[ rin might have been one of the last to wake up from their nice little nap – which wouldn't come as any big surprise to anybody – but ryuji? he's been at this for a while.

for one, this isn't his dorm. he can't find shima or konekomaru, and that fact alone has him itching to go over this place with a fine-tooth comb until he finds them. ( and … well. you know. if he found the others as well, that would be a plus. )

anyway.

he's already given his new place a good once-over, read the note left behind and studied his "device," a simple-enough-looking thing that isn't unlike his own cell phone. ( which is apparently useless at the moment, thanks so much, you bag of dicks. ) he pokes around at it a little, tapping at the screen and trying to get a good hang of it before he ends up pocketing both it and the note, finally stepping foot outside.

now … there the hell is he supposed to even start looking?

still in the residential district, it doesn't seem like there is much of anyone else milling about – well, that he recognizes, anyway. there are too damn many unfamiliar faces for him to feel comfortable roaming around without much thought to where he's going, so you know what? he's just going to stuff his hands in his pockets and act like he knows everything that's going on, even if, on the inside, he's about as clueless as … ]

[ he doesn't see rin outright, but he does end up catching sight of that swishing tail and he knows, knows that there can't be too many people wandering around with one of those. ( or can there? you don't know where you are, the kind of people that live here. for all you know, they could all have tails. )

even still, he's trotting over eyes narrowed as he reaches to scrub a hand back through his hair. ]

[He stops once he hears his name, immediately recognizing the voice - and who it belongs to, once he actually turns around and sees him. He actually smiles a little - relief, mostly - and hurries in his direction.]

Whoa! They got you here, too? Maybe everyone else really is here!

[He looks around, like he's hopeful that even just mentioning the possibility means they're gonna pop right up. ... nope. Oh well. Moving on!]

Actually, I've only seen Yukio.

[Who has a tail now. ... And that thought is enough to make him scowl for a second, given he's convinced this place is responsible for that. But he does his best to shake it off. He'll talk about that later.]
