... and removes this gigantic, flat piece of technology that looks like a phone, if a phone had been injected with growth hormones. Seriously, even as he's holding it up for Yukio to look at the screen, it looks like it's stretching his fingers just hold it!]

What the hell is this supposed to be, anyway? Is it a phone? 'cause it's got the little picture of a phone on the bottom row of things, but... It's huge!

[ he doesn't think it's weird because it had actually been a pretty nice room? is that so hard to believe, rin? ( sorry to keep jumping around the conversation, it's just that he's still feeling that guilt hanging over him and he wants to keep you as distracted from the topic of his tail and teeth and ears as long as he possibly can before the inevitable happens and he comes clean with the whole thing. )

he'd been expecting one identical to his. he isn't sure why, but somehow it would have made sense for it to be that way. ( if you're going to bring people to a new place, why go out of your way to customize everything just for them? unless …

unless there's more to this than he's really seeing just yet, and that thought is just a bit daunting for him. )

he stares at the device – phone? tablet? what is that supposed to be? – with a slightly awed expression, simultaneously reaching into one of his own pockets to take out his own device. which looks like a palm pilot and a sidekick got really drunk one night and had a baby. ]

That … [ still baffled. ] I don't know what that is. At least I think I've figured out how to use mine – I don't know where to start with that.

yukio doesn't even have a chance to try to explain what's going on with his own device, because rin is reaching for it and he finds it quickly plucked from his hands – well. at least there isn't any attention being focused on his tail anymore. CRISIS AVERTED. for the moment.

And I bet if you used mine for a clipboard you'd break the stupid thing. Forget it! Yours is so much more useful - how is that far?!
